Shores at Stillwater
The Shores at Stillwater is a 63 unit subdivision located off the Mayflower Exit from Hwy 40 between Park City, Utah and Heber City, UT. While technically located in Heber, the Shores at Stillwater is an easy 7.5 miles to the center of Park City while just over 9 miles into Heber. The real positive for the Shores at Stillwater location is the fact that the subdivision lies less than 1.5 miles to the Jordanelle Gondola at Deer Valley Resort ® and less than three quarters of a mile to the entrance of the Jordanelle State Park and access to the Jordanelle Reservoir.
Deer Valley Resort® has plans to expand into the area south of the Jordanelle Gondola with the possible addition of 5 chairlifts including one that would allow direct access to the top of Bald Mountain via the Sultan Express lift. The expansion would put a new potential base area within a mile of the Shores at Stillwater development.
The condominiums at the Shores at Stillwater are configured as two unit townhomes sharing one common wall. They vary in size from 2000’ to 3200’ and are 3-4 bedroom configurations. Built in 2006-2008, Shores at Stillwater are built with 3 levels. Most models have some ski run or lake views and all have two car garages. Exterior yard maintenance is handled by the HOA and scheduled painting (paid for by individual owners) keeps the overall community looking good. It is a quiet community with primary resident and second home usage as well as a few nightly rentals. There are no retail or service amenities in the immediate area surrounding the Shores at Stillwater (a stop in Park City or Heber is needed for groceries and gas, etc.). Residents do have the opportunity of using gym and pool facilities at the Lodge at Stillwater for a monthly fee.
