Old Town Park City
Old Town, Park City is well represented by its name. This is the original Park City real estate area. It is made up of small lots (the standard is 25' x 75') many of which are on steep hillsides. Very few building lots are available here. The Old Town real estate area also encompasses most of the area next to the Park City Mountain Resort as well as the area around city-park and the Park Meadows area. Much of it has a true mining town feel and this area lends itself to a true walking town with great shopping and restaurants. Within this area is the Historic District which gives Old Town its charm but is also something that will affect what you can do with certain properties. Scarcity is a major driving factor in the pricing of Old Town real estate in Park City with the lack of vacant and/or easy building keeping values high and still rising. Location is another factor driving value here, there are few places in the world like Park City's Old Town.
