Deer Valley Ridge at Silver Lake, or the Ridge as it is usually referred to, is located in the Silver Lake real estate area of Upper Deer Valley Resort.
There are twenty four condos at the Ridge that range in size from 2100 to 2500 square feet. All of the Ridge condos have 3 bedrooms and 3 ½ bathrooms. They all have private hot tubs, an ample deck and attached two car garages. So what are the differences between the various Ridge units that Park City Ski condo buyers should be aware of? The first will be the quality and year of any remodeling that previous owners have done. These Upper Deer Valley Condos were built in 1985 and almost all of them have undergone at least one renovation. Another thing to note is that condos 1 – 14 are what we call interior units that face units 15 – 24 which we call exterior units. Condos 15 – 24 front to Sterling Drive, because of the downhill slope, sit above the Twin Pines at Silver Lake condos on the other side of Sterling Drive. These “exterior” condos have stunning views to Deer Valley Resort’s Empire Pass and the Park City Ski Area.
There are no common area amenities but we would make a case that the location is a compelling amenity in itself. The Ridge is just a five minute walk from the Silver Lake Lodge and the Sterling lift. In the winter you can store your skis and boots at the ski corral and walk to the resort in your sneakers. In the summer it is a quick mountain bike ride to the lift that will take you and your bike to the top of Bald Mountain. Also there are wonderful restaurants, shops and ski rental located in and around the Silver Lake base area. You can walk to the Stein Eriksen Lodge for dinner or Sunday Brunch or stop at the Cena Ristorante and Lounge at the end of the day on your way back to your condo. Last but not least the Ridge is located on Park City’s complimentary bus route that will take you into Old Town, the other ski areas or even out to Kimball Junction.
