Sometimes the best way to learn about your new home is to just get in a car and drive.  Fasten your seatbelt, put on your sunglasses and just drive.  Guardsman Pass Scenic Backway is one scenic drive that will make you glad you are considering Park City to be your new hometown!

This back country road bordered by Aspens, wildflowers and other lush mountain foliage isn't completely paved, nor is it plowed during the winter, but in the fall, when the leaves on the Aspens turn orange and gold, and the oak trees leaves become that fiery red you'll find the lack of paved roads really don't mean a thing.

In the winter, you might want to consider a guided snow shoe tour led by All Seasons Adventures.  This is a family activity, for kids 6 and up, but they also sponsor tours for corporate tours - can you imagine a better way to incorporate a team building exercise than snowshoeing through the beautiful Park City Mountains? More Winter Tours in Park City

Park City is more than driving and snowshoeing, of course. Visit during the holidays (or any time during the winter) and experience a two horse open sleigh ride through Willow Draw or even, for the more adventurous, dogsledding through snow covered meadows.  Finally, why not try out the zipline tours where you can fly across the canyon between Lookout Peak and Red Pine Lodge on a line that spans over 2000 feet?  This aerial adventure is for those 7 and over – and sorry, all you mommies to be – pregnant women are not permitted on the zip line!
