Park Avenue Condos
The Park Avenue Condominiums at the north end of Old Town as described by the Park City real estate neighborhoods is a community of 132 residences central to most Park City amenities. The street addresses for the Park Avenue Condominiums is Captain Molly Drive; in relation to Park Ave. (Park City's main thoroughfare) this community is between 16th (Deer Valley Dr.) and 18th street (Kearns Blvd.) one street west of Park Ave.
Built in the early 1970's, the Park Avenue Condos are brick townhome style 2 story buildings covering a 40 acre parcel in a central Park City location. Over half of the Park Ave. Condos back up to the Park City Municipal Golf Course. Each of these units is set so that they have a back deck facing the golf course. Buyers should keep in mind that errant shots are common and may present a danger. The Park City Golf Course converts to a cross country ski track during the winter. Park Ave Condo units that are not on the golf course back up to Park Avenue and are affected by traffic noise (although not as bad as people tend to expect). Beyond the proximity to the Park City Golf Course, Park Avenue Condominiums are located across the street from the The Fresh Market and Holiday Village shopping center. There is a bus stop adjacent to the community providing free transportation throughout Park City as well as to Deer Valley Resort, The Canyons and Park City Mountain Resort for skiing and snowboarding.
Within the Park Avenue Condominium subdivision there is a recreational building next to the outdoor heated pool which houses locker rooms, 2 indoor hot tubs (many of the individual condominiums have hot tubs too), and 2 saunas. There is also a reception desk staffed in the winter by Identity Properties for rental check-in and out.
The majority of the Park Avenue Condominiums are 2 bedroom 2.5 bath models of approximately 1400 square feet. There are also a few 1 bedroom models of about 600 square feet in size. There also exist some 3 bedroom (some of which have been converted to 4 bedrooms) 2.5 bath models of just over 1800 square feet. Condominiums throughout the community have had various remodels and updates, and may be quite different from each other.
