Blackhawk Station
Blackhawk Station is a community of 160 homes in the Kimball Junction area of Park City, Utah. Blackhawk Station covers an area of about 35 acres situated at the north end of Park City, UT. It is made up of 2-4 bedroom homes ranging from 1148 square feet to just over 2400 square feet. The homes are on relatively small lots ranging from 0.08 acres to 0.15 acres. The houses all have two car garages and fenced back yards. The area provides easy access into Park City and quick access to Salt Lake City via I-80. The entrance to this Park City neighborhood is from Bitner Road (the north eastern frontage road off I-80) via either Old Stone House Rd (on the Western end of the community) or Station Loop Road (on the community's eastern end).
The area's proximity to the commercial developments in the Kimball Junction area (Redstone, Newpark, Landmark and Outlets) makes it very walk-able (via a walking tunnel underneath I-80), or a bike friendly commute. Local mass transit to the commercial areas and Park City is also very close. There is great fishing in East Canyon Creek as well as walking and biking trails next to the Blackhawk Station community.

The community is pet friendly. Many of the homes have Canyons, Park City and Deer Valley ski area views, with several homes that back up to open space. The homes closest to I-80 benefit from a bern designed to minimize road noise. There are approximately 11 acres owned by the HOA that is reserved for open space with paved paths between homes. The HOA at Blackhawk Station maintains the open spaces and front yards as well as pocket parks within the community.
This PUD (Planned Urban Development) built from 1998 to 2001 is a great "starter" home/smaller home community within the Park City school district - making it appealing to full-time resident families.
