Soldier Hollow Gold - Midway
Soldier Hollow Golf Course opened July 1st 2004 and is the newest addition to the Wasatch Mountain State Park. The championship, 36-hole facility completes the year-round recreation programs at the 2002 Olympic and Paralympics Winter Games venue. Two 18-hole courses appropriately named the Gold and Silver courses - offer challenging play for golfers of all abilities and amazing views of the Heber Valley and majestic Mount Timpanogos. Golfers and non-golfers alike will enjoy the beauty of the facilities, the new clubhouse with floor-to-ceiling windows and the onsite restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Gold Course is considered the more challenging of the two and provides much more elevation change than the Silver Course. First time players on this course will find a few shots that are blind, a drive up the fairway (walking is not permitted on the Gold Course) will give you a better idea of the ideal shot. Elevation changes on the holes will definitely make you think twice during club selection.Yardage: 7598 Slope/Rating: 137/75.0 | More info: www.stateparkgolf.utah.govBecause the course is located within a Utah State Park (Wasatch Mountain), there are no homes along the course.
