The Lodges is made up of 4 buildings (2,3,4 and 5 or B,C,D, and E) building 1 does not exist as its density rights were traded to the Sliver Baron Lodge next door to the Lodges. Buildings 2, 3 and 4 were built first with building 5 being finished in 2000. Building 2 is at the northern end of the development while building 3 is on the side of the hill backing up to open space. Building #4 at the Lodges at Deer Valley contains the development's amenities including front desk, concierge, bell desk, general store, meeting facilities and in house ski shop. Building #5 closest to the base area at Deer Valley Resort is also the newest building at The Lodges and also contains the gym facilities for its owners and guests. A common area and pool are available for owners and guests alike.
The Lodges at Deer Valley's location at 2900 Deer Valley Dr. puts it just beyond comfortable walking distance to Deer Valley Resort while in ski boots (the front door of The Lodges is O.1 mile to the lifts at Deer Valley Resort), but the free shuttle provided by the property management company makes this a moot point. The Lodges front desk is staffed 24 hours a day and staff service standards keep this property in the top ten ski properties as listed by Conde Nast Traveler.
The Lodges is made up of 85 units spread through its four buildings. Models include one, two, and three bedroom rental and ownership opportunities. There are flats and townhome models. An underground parking garage stretches between all buildings and allows for travel between buildings without "braving the elements". Some units contain lock-out capabilities allowing for multiple rental configurations. The Lodges at Deer Valley has a rustic lodge ambiance and mountain contemporary feel. Each unit has a full kitchen. Interiors finishes may vary according to individual owner taste and any upgrades made since the original construction of the Lodges at Deer Valley.
The meeting facilities and personal service aspects of the management team make this one of the best revenue producing properties in the Park City area. Current revenues will not make this (or most any other property in Park City) property truly "cash flow".
