Park City, Utah is filled with music and performing arts year around thanks greatly to the following organizations: For Event info by date go to: Events Park City Performing Arts Foundation PCPAF is a non-profit organization, dedicated to presenting top-notch, diverse and entertaining performances to the community. PCPAF is currently presenting its eleventh season of eclectic, nationally and internationally renowned performers at The George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Center for the Performing Arts (a joint-use facility with the Park City School District). The organization will embark on its fifth season of large-scale concerts at Deer Valley Resort this summer. In addition to main stage shows and the “Big Stars, Bright Nights” series, PCPAF is dedicated to introducing young people to the arts through free student outreach workshops, shows and demonstrations. Mountain Town Stages MTS is a 501C-3 non-profit organization. In its words Mountain Town Stages "exists to produce, foster, and support live music - creating an internationally recognized musical community which enhances the cultural experience for Park City and Summit County residents and visitors." Mountain Town Stages provides: Outdoor Venues including: "the worlds greatest Après ski party" at The Canyons on Saturdays in March and April - 3 PM to 5 PM. Summer operations include outdoor stages at the following locations: Lower Summit Watch Plaza near Fiore - 900 Main Street - located at the bottom of Main Street. Music on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 6 PM to 8:30 PM from late June through August. Upper Summit Watch Plaza near La Casita - 700 Main Street. Music on Friday and Saturday from 6 PM to 8:30 PM from late June through August. Miners Plaza - 415 Main Street in the middle of the Historic District. Music on Saturdays and Sundays from 1 PM to 5 PM from July through August. This is a great spot where shoppers and guests strolling Main street can enjoy some free Park City entertainment. The Forum at The Canyons Resort. Music on Saturdays from 6PM to 8:30 PM from July through August. This venue provides one of Park City's best attended events for its free concert and fireworks show around July 4th. Woodenshoe Park in Peoa. Music on Fridays from 6 PM to 8:30P M from July through August. Quarry Village in Pinebrook. Music on Sundays from 5 PM to 7 PM from July through August. Mountain Town Stages also puts on indoor concerts from January to March plus: Alone on Stage in Park City, a Solo Singer/Songwriter Festival held in May. Special Events and Fundraisers including "Music Makers" and "The Cow Ballet". Private Clubs & Restaurants and other non-profit organizations programing live music, assisted and supported by Mountain Town Stages. House concerts and private functions The Park City Jazz Foundation Jazz Festival puts on a 3 day concert festival every year in August at Deer Valley Resort. The festival includes an educational component for local school kids and features major headline acts. one of this year's headline act is Blues Traveler on August 22. Go to Events and scroll to August 22 for more information. The Egyptian Theatre Company ETC The Egyptian Theatre is Park City's oldest theatre at 328 Main Street. This local favorite re-opened in 1926 to accommodate the traveling vaudevillians popular at the time. Since its debut, the stage has hosted melodramas, silent and sound movies, and stage performances. Today, the 266-seat house plays home to the Egyptian Theatre Company, which produces a wide selection of high quality professional shows from Broadway and off- Broadway, and the ever-popular Sundance Film Festival.
