Wallsburg, Utah is a small town tucked about 4 miles up a meadowed valley from the Deer Creek Reservoir between Heber and Provo. Wallsburg is truly a rural town farming community with a population that barely exceeds 300 people (the sheep and cow population surely outnumbers the human population).

The vast open spaces tucked in mountain suroundings with views of the back (or front depending on who you talk to) Timpanogos range provide a quiet get-away which seems far removed from what some people term “civilization”. Yet Wallsburg is less than 15 miles from Heber to the north, and just 17 miles from the Provo/Orem area to the south.

The proximity to Heber and Orem make the relative lack of commercial amenities in Wallsburg unimportant. The town has a small convenience/grocery store and grill, a post office and community center. For a rural get-away or simplistic lifestyle, there is little else that you need. The valley and its meadows provide fantastic scenery and a quietness that people long for.

Of course there are great outdoor opportunities near Wallsburg: Deer Creek Reservoir with great skiing, wake-boarding, fishing and sailing is just moments away. Fly-fishing the Provo riveris also just a short distance. For winter sports, skiing at Deer Valley or Sundance resort are also just a 20 minute drive.
