South Shore

South Shore is the smallest single family home community within the Silver Springs area of Park City; containing 82 single family homes. South Shore has a small recreational lake accessible to all residents. It�s a great lake for canoeing and fishing. Homes on Southshore Drive and Little Lake Drive may have Lake Frontage while homes on Park Place, West Silver Springs Drive and Walker Court are on streamside lots.

South Shore is surrounded by the other communities within the Silver Springs neighborhood: Ranch Place, Willow Creek, North Shore, and Snyders Mill. And like these other communities, South Shore homes are close to schools, trails, shopping, restaurants, county park, golf courses, and the Utah Olympic Park. With easy access to State Route 224 and Interstate 80, homes in South Shore as well as all of the Silver Springs area of Park City enjoy an easy commute to Salt Lake City and the International airport. The proximity to State Route 224 can be a "double edged sword" in that some of the homes closest to this road are impacted by it audibly and visually.

South Shore homes tend to be owner-occupied, permanent residences (nightly rental are not allowed). Most are three or four bedroom homes with three car garages and level lots. Some homes have ski area views and all have mountain views. Since most of these residences were built in the early 1990's, they also have mature landscaping. South Shore is a member of the Silver Springs Master HOA. The South Shore Home Owner�s Association (HOA) dues are modest and cover maintenance of streetlights, lakes, and parks within Silver Springs.
