Park City Mountain Resort
The Park City Mountain Resort boasts 3300 ski-able acres spread over 7 peaks and nine bowls accessed by 16 lifts with an uphill capacity of over 28000 skier/riders per hour. Park City Mountain Resort's 4 terrain parks and superpipe help to round out the resorts offerings for all user levels and help the resort to its number 5 ranking for the 2008-2009 ski and ride season by SKI Magazine readers.
The Park City Mountain Resort has added 10.5 million dollars worth of capital improvements for the season and include a new high speed lift from the base area to the top of Cresent Ridge as well as a new run and increased snowmaking. The resort has also renovated the Mid-mountain lodge.
The Park City Mountain Resort is also a very active area during the summer. The Payday and Town Lifts run to access mountain biking trails, the alpine slide and zip line. There is a miniature golf course, alpine coaster and more.
Vacation and year round resort accommodations are available covering a broad range of opportunities. There are relatively few ski-in ski-out properties, but with 3 base areas from which to access the resort, Park City resort real estate property opportunities abound. The properties that are truly ski-in/ski-out command a premium (of course this is true of any ski resort). Slope-side or properties within walking distance in your ski boots are plentiful (most are condominiums). Single family homes tend to be a little further from the resort although there are some fantastic remodels of historic miner's shacks near Main St. Park City and the Town Lift.
