Fishing Park City and Utah

Within a 30 minute radius of Park City are several excellent rivers holding Native Bonneville Cutthroat, flamboyant Rainbow and hefty Brown Trout. Utah's excellent fly fishing streams have recently begun to receive the notice they deserve. Some of the best include: the Sevier River near Marysvale, Seven-Mile Creek near Fish Lake, the Provo (running through Kamas and Heber - just minutes from Park City, Weber, Logan, and Green Rivers, Corn Creek near Kanosh, Strawberry Reservoir and the Strawberry River east of Heber, Huntington Creek southwest of Price, and the hundreds of streams in the Uinta Mountains in northeastern Utah.

Whether you are a local or visitor to Utah fly fishing anglers seeking "the big one" you will be thrilled with the variety of big fish here. Getting them on the line and in the net is always unpredictable. Should you be looking for just the right equipment or local guide services, try our next door neighbors at the Trout Bum II fly shop.

Notes: 1) To those who are also skiers: Some of the best fishing we get here is mid-winter! If it’s a poor day on the slopes, grab a guide & go hit some of our local waters… our trout eat flies all-year-long. 2) We have several riverfront homes and land with fishing access available for potential buyers throughout the region.
