Most homes were built in the early to mid 1990's, have three or four bedrooms, 3-car garages, and are on level, attractively landscaped lots.
Like its adjacent communities of South Shore and North Shore, most homes in Silver Springs are owner-occupied, primarily mountain contemporary in design with mountain or ski-area views. This area of the Snyderville Basin was developed as a residential area and does not allow for nightly rentals. Homes in Silver Springs are also close to biking and hiking trails connecting to the Kimball Junction and Park City historic areas, and within blocks of Parley's Park Elementary School. Silver Springs as a neighborhood and subdivision is one of the few areas in Park City that is not built on a hill. Its flat valley location makes walking and biking through the neighborhood viable. Homes that come onto the market in this subdivision usually sell very quickly as this is a very desirable Park City locale.
The annual Silver Springs HOA dues are very modest and cover maintenance of streetlights, lakes, parks, and mailboxes within the community. The home owners association (HOA) also regulates architectual design, fencing, landscaping parking and general homea and neighborhood appearance in an effort to maintain property values and area safety. Adjacent to State Route 224, the Silver Springs community provides convenient access to Interstate 80 and easy commute to Salt Lake City and Salt Lake City International Airport.
