The PowderWood condominiums are a community of 228 one and two bedroom condos in the Kimball Junction area of Park City, Utah. The Powderwood Resort location just off I-80 at the junction of highway 224 (the primary access route into Park City) provides easy access to Park City with its three world class ski resorts while being an easy commute to Salt Lake City, UT.

In terms of Park City real estate, Powder Wood represents one of the most economical condominium communities in the area. Built in 1985, there are 13 residential buildings housing 12 or 24 units each plus a clubhouse, pool, lighted tennis courts, volleyball court, BBQ's and picnic area. There are three floor plans available; 680 square feet for a one bedroom, 850 square feet for a two bedroom, and 1050 square feet for a two bed with a loft (all sizes are approximate). The buildings are 3 stories and are accessed by stairs. Dogs are not allowed at the PowderWood Resort condominiums. The area's location and affordability make it a great spot for locals and Park City's employee workforce. Powderwood is adjacent to open space with trails, as well as the High Ute Ranch and tanger Outlet Mall.

Nightly rentals are allowed and Powderwood runs a shuttle bus to local attractions during the winter months. The location in Kimball Junction probably lends itself better to longer term rentals. The HOA for Powderwood is managed by Greater Park City Properties (435-649-5351). The HOA provides the basic cable, snow removal, and common area maintenance as well as water and sewer service for the community.

Individual condominiums at Powderwood vary greatly as some have been remodeled while others have not. The building locations within the community as well as locations of each unit make for a wide array sights and sounds at Powderwood.
